  • Ruchika Budhraja Hodel, President

    Ruchika graduated from Yale College in 2003, where she double majored in Ethics, Politics & Economics and History. Ruchika was in Ezra Stiles College, conveniently located right across the street from the gym, where she spent a lot of time running on the treadmill and picking up racquetball. She grew up in Orange County and moved back in 2023, just before having her second child. She lives with her husband and two kids in Dana Point.

  • Dean Kim, Vice President

    Dean Kim graduated from Yale College in 1986. He majored in Electrical Engineering, but found that he really loved his Economics and Management Science classes, which he’s since put to work as the Head of Research Product at William O’Neil + Co. Inc. Dean grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and was the first person in his family to go to college. In addition to serving as the Vice President of the Yale Club of Orange County, he’s also the director of Yale’s Alumni Schools Committee (ASC) in Orange County.

  • Todd Watts, Secretary

    Todd graduated from Yale’s School of Management with his MBA in 2010. He is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PatientFi, a leading financial technology company focused on providing patients with more affordable point of care payment alternatives for out-of-pocket healthcare treatments and procedures. Todd grew up in Fullerton and currently lives in Newport Beach with his wife and two kids.

  • Teresa Lee, Treasurer

    Teresa Lee is a proud parent of a student-athlete on Men's Lightweight Crew (Yale '25) who is majoring in Classics and Philosophy. She grew up in Brazil, was a first generation college student, and currently divides her time between Rancho Santa Margarita and Bel Air with her husband, Yalie son, and student-athlete daughter (SMCHS '25) who has committed to the admissions process to swim/study in Cambridge. Besides her role as the Treasurer for the Yale Club of OC, she is a Yale Parent Fund Volunteer Agent, an avid supporter of the Y150, and a member of the Yale Parent Leadership Council and the Southern California Regional Advisory Group.

  • Philip Stemler, Delegate

    Philip graduated from Yale College in 2007, where he was a member of Yale’s sailing team. A Newport Beach native, he returned to Southern California for law school at the University of San Diego School of Law. Since graduating, Philip has dedicated his career to public safety as a prosecutor with the District Attorney’s Office of San Bernardino County. He and his wife returned to his hometown to raise their two sons. Philip has coached his sons' soccer teams and several high school mock trial teams.

  • Bettina Kallins, Delegate

    Bettina graduated from Yale College in 1996 and received her MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently works at Wells Fargo Advisors as Senior Vice President - Investments. She lives in Newport Beach with her husband and three sons, the youngest of whom will be a Yalie, Class of 2028!

  • Christina Mainero, Special Events

    Christina Mainero graduated from the Yale School of Public Health and the Yale School of Management. During her career, she has worked with Illumination Foundation, a non-profit working to break the cycle of homelessness; Deloitte Consulting; the Yale Emerging Infections Program; CAMA, a boutique health design firm; Kaiser Permanente; and Blue Shield of California. She enjoys playing mediocre tennis; trying new hobbies including glass blowing and beekeeping; and lives with her husband and two dogs, Finn & Henry, in Newport Beach.
